Stay Home Outfit Ideas For The 4th Of July
By Ana Tess
This year’s 4th of July is going to be different, as is everything else. But there is no reason you can’t celebrate it - you actually should as the world is changing for the better. As a fashion editor, I think of "looks" for all occasion and here are my ideas on how to make yourself cozy at home, but still chic for the holiday.
1. Tie-dye Sweatsuit Set
@brunapetrillo
I would do it in blue/red/white dye colors to make yourself look festive for Independence Day. Or you can even spread out those colors across your family, so you look like a team!
2. Track pants & Heels
@leoniehanne
An elevated “stay home” look just right for the holiday. Add some color to make it even happier - we all need some positive energy right now.
3. Sporty shorts & Dress jacket
@leandramcohen
Just like how Leandra Medine-Cohen wore her Chanel tweed jacket with sports shorts. You can play around with this variation, but the idea is very cool and you can easily create endless looks.
4. Gathered slit summer dress
@maria_bernad
One of those dresses to “slip on and go”. Sexy, cool, easy - what else do you need for staying in your backyard?
5. Statement choker
@laura_eguizabal
Even that you may think it’s a bit of overdressing, there is no shame to wear such a statement piece with a simple white t-shirt. I would also add a red lip and do your hair slick back. Circa Saint Laurent Fall 16.
Celebrate yourselves, fireworks will help you!
