TALENT & WORK

What is your biggest talent?
I would say one of my best talents is organization and using it to create and manage content. I've dived into photography last year and I love how organization can affect how you see the world - what is pleasing to the eye, what the focus is. I also love writing, especially with a particular audience in mind. I used to want to be an author when I was younger but found that I didn't have patience to write a novel. Instead, organization and administration allow me to oversee and line up the now and hopefully create practical or beautiful imagery.

How do you incorporate your talent for work?
I work part-time as a studio assistant for a music teaching studio right now. I manage their scheduling, communication, studio-upkeep and social media. Scheduling for coaches and students requires attention to detail and personal needs and I like to think that this affects how I am approaching others on my personal online platforms. I like to keep things personal but in an approachable, down-to-earth way. I hope to eventually work with other admin/content creators in places like NYC but that's what I'm working toward online as of now.

How did you start your blogging career?
I was inspired while on a trip to NYC this past October, 2018. I captured photos with my husband's help and started posting pictures to my Instagram profile with a new mindset. I hoped to inspire myself and others by showing that it's possible to enjoy where you're living without having to be in other countries and cities. I enjoyed the creativity and discovery behind it so much that we've been capturing moments ever since while in the ATL. We've found new brands, restaurants, locations and people, just by looking for new inspiration within my hometown and it seems to be catching the eye of others much faster than I anticipated!

What do you like the most about your career?
I like to think that my career is just starting! I recently graduated from college with a major in Music Business. I wanted to work within the business side of music (not musicianship itself) BUT I've seen so much that I can do online through brand relationships. I'm hoping to make connections online and eventually find myself in a career that I never dreamed I would have. I love content creation, fashion, travel and the creative minds behind it all and I hope to stumble into it one day!

What do you wish to achieve in the society?
I hope to one day touch the lives of others that I never imagined I could. I want people in this world to know that hope exists. We all compare ourselves so much to each other that it's quite easy to lose track of who you are. Inspiration isn't easy to come by and it's even harder to learn to inspire yourself... It may be simplistic but I hope to encourage others to accept who they are and what they love so they can learn to inspire themselves. Life is worth living so I want people to know that hopelessness can be overcome. You don't have to feel jaded on a daily basis - this world always has something new and exciting to share and it needs to be shared with OTHERS. We're all here for each other so let's live this life together!

FASHION & STYLE

How would you describe your style?
I love describing style based on inspiration! I find myself inspired most by locations like London, Paris and NYC so I would say I have a practical, business-like, classic style with a passion for chic, romantic silks and lipstick. I love retro fashion from the European 40's the American 60's and the French 70's so all I really ever need is a simple yet beautiful dress, my leather trench, strappy heels and a red lip.

What is your go-to outfit?
My go-to outfit depends on my mood and the weather. Right now, I find that I'm loving the simplicity of my button-down white shirt dress from Club Monaco. I love that something about it reminds me of the business-side of NYC but with the ease of an evening on the beach surrounded by paradise. I also adore its minimalism... For a more practical day, I tend to wear a floral jumpsuit or a power suit with classic sneakers.

What is your favorite fashion trend right now?
Pastels are my favorite this season! In past springs, pastels always reminded me of Easter eggs but I love how the pastels this year are subtle and don't offend the eye. I love seeing entire outfits of lavender and pistachio or tangerine and baby pink.

Where do you get your fashion inspiration?
I find most of my inspiration online since most people in the ATL don't dress like I do! I find a lot of inspiration on Pinterest and from other girls that I follow on Instagram. Some of my favorite accounts are @nycbambi@mvb, @alyssainthecity and of course @jeannedamas! A lot of my style inspiration also comes from TV shows like "Friends," "Sex and the City," and "Outlander."

Where are some of your favorite places to shop?
I love shopping online at stores like Mango, Free People, Urban Outfitters, and Madewell. I frequent Chanel boutiques for makeup more than I like to admit though!

What is one fashion trend prediction that you foresee for 2019?
I think we're going to continue seeing more laid-back Cali vibes from LA. I love a good sporty look every now and then but I see sport looks appearing more as the LA influence continues to grow throughout the world.
